Versatility meets portability

It’s flexible flash head provides creative lighting freedom for nearly any subject. Achieve brilliant results and seamless lighting system integration with hot shoe operation or wireless as a master, commander, or remote light source.
Nikon’s precision i-TTL flash control
The SB-700 Speedlight has Nikon's precision i-TTL (Intelligent Through-The-Lens) flash control, which makes it ideal for use with Nikon's Creative Lighting System (CLS). This allows it to deliver precise flash exposures and seamless fill-flash performance even in challenging lighting conditions. The SB-700 sends information to the camera about the lighting of the scene via a series of monitor pre flashes that are fired immediately prior to the main flash. The Speed-light's output and the surrounding light of the scene are then automatically balanced by i-TTL.
Wireless commander mode
The SB-700's wireless Commander Mode gives you complete control over Creative Lighting System (CLS) products that are compatible. The SB-700 controls up to 2 far off Speed-light gatherings and a limitless number of viable Speed-lights. Up to three groups can be selected when the Speed-light is used as a remote speed light. In environments with multiple photographers, four wireless channel options help manage wireless conflicts.
Intuitive versatile lighting options
The SB-700's streamlined controls and user-friendly menus make it simple to access all its features. In FX-format, you can cover lenses as wide as 24mm and as wide as 120mm with ease thanks to versatile auto power zoom coverage.
