The 24mm F1.4 GM has a cutting-edge optical design that includes three ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements and two XA (extreme aspherical) elements that provide outstanding corner-to-corner resolution even at a wide F1.4 aperture. The g Master series is distinguished by its beautiful bokeh, which is produced by a 11-blade circular aperture mechanism. The DDSSM (direct drive SSM) focus drive system enables quick focusing. In an optical design that satisfies stringent G Master requirements, two XA (extreme aspherical) elements contribute to consistently high resolution throughout the image area.
