The world's first all-in-one zoom lens with a bright maximum aperture of F2.8 at 28mm, the Tamron 28-200mm F/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD (Model A071) delivers high-level performance across the entire zoom range. The lens has a length of 4.6 inches and a weight of just 20.3 ounces, yet it covers this wide range.

The lens also provides high-level performance for close-up photography with its 7.5 in MOD at the wide end and 31.5 in MOD at the tele end. The cutting-edge 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 is unique among all-in-one zooms because it vividly captures virtually all possible scenes, including landscapes, portraits, snapshots, and close-ups.

Maximum aperture
The 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 is the first full-frame mirror less all-in-one zoom lens with a maximum aperture of F2.8. It performs exceptionally well across the entire zoom range, with aperture settings of F3.5 at 50mm, F4.5 at 100mm, and F5.6 at 200mm. The 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 delivers highly detailed images in a wide range of shooting conditions, including landscape, portrait, and candid shots. The application of BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating offers high anti-reflective benefits and reduces ghosting and flare that are otherwise likely to occur when shooting backlight scenes.
