Panasonic Lumix S 24mm f/1.8 Lens (S-S24) L-Mount Wide-Angle Prime for Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras (Black) - New

Versatile Wide-Angle Performance

The Panasonic Lumix S 24mm f/1.8 is a large-diameter wide-angle prime lens compatible with all L-Mount cameras. With a 24mm focal length and f/1.8 maximum aperture, this lens excels in everything from landscapes to snapshots, offering a wide angle of view with beautiful bokeh capabilities. The closest focusing distance of 0.24m (0.79 ft) with 0.15x maximum magnification makes it ideal for creative close-up work.

Advanced Optical Design

Comprised of 12 lens elements in 11 groups, this lens incorporates 3 aspherical lenses, 3 ED lenses, and 1 UED lens to deliver exceptional image quality. The aspherical lenses achieve both high descriptive performance and beautiful bokeh, while the ED and UED elements effectively suppress chromatic aberration for sharp, color-accurate results.

Professional Video Capabilities

The Lumix S 24mm f/1.8 excels in video recording with smooth, silent autofocus operation supporting the camera's contrast AF system at up to 240 fps sensor drive. A mechanism that suppresses focus breathing combined with micro-step aperture control ensures professional-quality video production.

Compact and Durable Build

Despite its large aperture, this lens maintains a compact, lightweight design for all-day shooting comfort. The dust/splash/freeze-resistant construction withstands harsh field conditions. The consistent size, control position, and center of gravity across the F1.8 lens series allows quick lens changes with minimal gimbal adjustment.
